Welcome to Castlebar Gin Trail!

Visit Mayo's county town and experience Ireland's first permanent gin trail! There's never been a better time to plan your days and nights out in Castlebar. You can beGIN the trail at any of our gin trail pubs. Castlebar Gin Trail is a self-guided trail, open every day during pub opening hours. Just pick up a pocket-sized Castlebar Gin Trail booklet (available from all of the bars on the trail) or check out our Trail Pubs & Gins page to find out about each of our featured gins, or use the map on our website. Please remember to drink responsibly.

Castlebar Chamber of Commerce members and local publicans launched Castlebar Gin Trail on June 2, 2017. Their aim is to make Castlebar the ‘Gin Capital of Ireland’. The trail is Ireland's first permanent gin trail and features both Irish and international premium gins. The pubs working together on the trail include: Mick Byrne’s, The Bungalow, Bridge Street, The Irish House, Johnny McHale’s, Bar One, Coady’s, The Cobweb, Rocky’s, The Castle Inn, Tolster’s and The Connaught Inn.
